Do Data With Us at Super Conference 2019!

I will be presenting with Caroline Freibauer at the Ontario Library Association Super Conference 2019. We would love you to join us for our action-packed 90-minute workshop on Thursday January 31 at 2 pm. Here’s what to expect.

Doing Data

Collecting and analyzing qualitative data is important to help drive programming and to support school library advocacy. In this interactive workshop you will learn how to highlight what is happening in your library and showcase your programming in a way that will make people stand up and take notice. This workshop session will take you from planning your research project, right through to sharing your story. We will teach you how to collect qualitative data using surveys, focus groups, conversations and observation. Then, we will show you how to sift through the information collected so that you can share what you learn through art, graphs and reports. You will leave this session with enough information to design and execute your own research initiative.
